Resetting your password


If you don’t know your Google Account password, follow these steps to reset your password.


Password reset when you haven't set up a recovery phone number

  1. Go to the trouble signing in page
  2. Select "I don't know my password."
  3. Enter your email address.
  4. Enter your last known password.
    If you can't remember any of your last known passwords, and have set up a recovery phone number, proceed to "Password reset when you have set up a recovery phone number."
    If you can't remember any of your last known passwords, and haven't set up a recovery phone number, proceed to "Contacting Technical Support in all other instances."

Password reset when you have set up a recovery phone number

  1. Go to the trouble signing in page
  2. Select "I don't know my password."
  3. Enter your email address.
  4. Select "I don't know."
  5. Select either "a text message (SMS)" or "an automated phone call" option depending on your preference.
  6. Enter the code on the screen that follows provided to you by text message or phone call.
  7. Enter your new password 

Contacting Technical Support in all other instances

  1. Go the Get Help Tab in blackboard or the New Ticket Page in freshdesk.
  2. Fill out the form on the page
  3. Submit the ticket
  4. A Technical Support agent will be in contact with you to assist resetting your password
